Our physicians do not do primary care obstetrics.
Your maternity care provider will refer you to one of our physicians for shared care should this be required.
Do I need a referral to see a physician at Seaside Specialists?
Yes, a referral is required to see our physicians.
You can get a referral from your Family Doctor, Nurse Practitioner, Midwife, Walk-in Clinic, Primary Care Access Clinic or Emergency Department.
What should I bring to my first gynecological appointment?
It is helpful to have a list of any medications you are currently taking and any specific questions or concerns you wish to discuss.
What will my approximate wait time be?
Current wait times vary by physician and may change without notice based on wait list numbers.
Each referral is individually triaged by the physician as it is received.
If you have been referred for an urgent issue we will book you for a consult within 6 weeks.
Please be aware that our routine wait times currently vary from 12 - 28 months, depending on which physician you would like to see.
