Lichen sclerosus is
a chronic inflammatory skin condition, most commonly affecting the genital and anal areas, that causes thin, white, itchy, and fragile patches. Primarily affecting postmenopausal women but possible at any age, it requires long-term management with potent topical steroids to relieve itching, reduce pain, and prevent scarring or potential progression to skin cancer.
Bladder training is a behavioral therapy that helps manage urinary incontinence and overactive bladder by scheduling bathroom trips and using techniques to delay urination. It aims to increase the time between voids, improve control over urgency, and increase bladder capacity over 3 to 12 weeks.

Perimenopause is the transitional, 2-to-10-year, pre-menopause phase typically starting in a person's 40s (sometimes late 30s), caused by fluctuating estrogen and progesterone. Symptoms include irregular, heavy, or light periods, hot flashes, night sweats, mood swings, and vaginal dryness. It ends when menstruation has stopped for 12 consecutive months.
